Dhanush’s ambitious directorial venture Raayan might not hit the big screen in April, as announced earlier. Earlier, it was reported that the makers of the Dhanush directorial had zeroed in on April 11 as the release date. But according to the latest buzz, it is being speculated that the film might be out in May instead of April due to the upcoming general elections. If the rumours are true, we can expect an official announcement from the makers very soon!

Tamil movie releases pushed after elections

Not just Dhanush's Raayan, the release dates of several other highly anticipated Tamil films have been pushed till the end of the election buzz. Films such Vikram-starrer Thangalaan and Suriya-starrer Kanguva have been eyeing a release date post May. Although there has been no clarity over all the multi-starrer films getting released simultaneously, we can expect a huge wave of releases post the election.
