The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Rachel, unveiled its teaser today (June 17). The movie, which stars Honey Rose in the lead role, is directed by debutante Anandhini Bala. The teaser for the film features an intense and captivating portrayal of Rachel by the actress, giving fans hope for a riveting performance. Additionally, the clip suggests that Rachel will soon be released in theatres.

A revenge drama is alluded to in the teaser, where the main character recalls seeing a pair of blood-red eyes in the shadows. She keeps saying that she will never forget them, and that her dreams are about them. By the end of the video, Rachel had promised to find him and kill him.

The supporting cast of the movie includes Radhika Radhakrishnan, Babu Raj, Kalabhavan Shajon, Roshan Basheer, Chandu Salimkumar, Jaffar Idukki, Vineeth Thattil, Joji, and Dinesh Prabhakar. Badusha N M, Rajan Chirayil, and Abrid Shine have bankrolled this project. Rahul Manappatt and director Abrid Shine both contributed to the screenplay.

Honey Rose describes the character a unique experience

As the shoot was coming to an end, Honey Rose told The Times of India how much of an unforgettable experience working with Rachel's team was. She continued by saying it was a unique opportunity to walk in Rachel's footsteps on this pan-Indian project.

"It was a pleasure to work with Ms. Anandhini Bala, an energetic and passionate woman director, for the first time in my eighteen-year career as a heroine. She turned Rachel into the most stunning character," she remarked.

Honey Rose stated that viewers will be exposed to this type of story and character for the first time in a previous interview with Kochi Times. "As soon as I heard the story, I knew I was the best candidate. Perhaps because I am so enthusiastic about it. Furthermore, she said, "I kind of feel like if I do it, it will work out well."
