Raid 2 OTT partner revealed! Here's where you can stream Ajay Devgn's crime thriller after its theatrical run

As anticipation reaches a crescendo ahead of the theatrical release of Raid 2 tomorrow, fans of high-stakes thrillers have another reason to rejoice — the Ajay Devgn-starrer will stream on Netflix following its theatrical run.

Raj Kumar Gupta's Raid 2 brings back Devgn's character, IRS officer Amay Patnaik, as he confronts Riteish Deshmukh's character, strong business magnate Dada Manohar Bhai, in a sequel to the highly praised Raid (2018). The film boasts an enthralling plot that explores corruption, political powerplay, and the unyielding determination of India's Income Tax Department; it also stars Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak (watch Tabbar), and Amit Sial (watch Maharani).

Although the theatrical release of Raid 2 is scheduled for May 1, 2025—a day that happens to coincide with both International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day—Netflix has already purchased the rights to watch the film online. Premiering on Netflix in the latter half of June or early July 2025, Raid 2 will follow the usual 60-day timeframe, followed by big Hindi films and the present post-theatrical release strategy.

As a result of the success of the first Raid and Devgn's legion of fans, Raid 2 should do well in the cinema and on streaming services.

High stakes and big numbers

The stakes are raised in the sequel when Amay Patnaik leads his 75th raid, uncovers more than ₹4,200 crore in black money, and challenges the deceitful empire of a revered politician pretending to be serving the public. Intense confrontations, stunning disclosures, and the everlasting struggle between power and justice are on the horizon as the drama progresses in Bhoj, where tensions are rising.
