The makers released a lyrical video of this new peppy number from the upcoming crime thriller, which features Sri Divya as the female lead. Raid is slated to hit the cinemas on November 10.

The new song, Ayyo Haiyo, from the Vikram Prabhu-starrer Raid is sung by Ranina Reddy and Mohan Rajan, and its music is composed by Sam CS. This new track has also already garnered a lot of attention online, with many calling it the new ‘party anthem’.
Raid’s plot, cast and crew
Helmed by debutant director Karthi, Raid is a crime thriller film, starring Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya. Vikram plays the role of a police officer, who is transferred to a new town where he is forced to deal with a powerful gang led by a ruthless gangster. The police officer is determined to put an end to the gangster’s reign of terror and restore peace in town.
The movie also features Ananthika, Rishi Rithvik and Soundararaja in pivotal roles. The film’s cinematography is done by Kathiravan and editing by Manimaran. K Ganesh is the stunt choreographer.
Raid is the remake of Kannada blockbuster Tagaru
Raid is a remake of superhit Kannada film Tagaru, starring Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya. The film is backed by SK Kanishk and GK Manikannan. Raid marks the second collaboration between Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya, who were seen together in the 2014 comedy flick Vellaikara Durai.
Vikram Prabhu’s Irugapatru received critical acclaim
Vikram’s latest romantic drama film Irugapatru, directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, hit the theatres on October 6.
