Raj and Subhashree welcome their second child

Director Raj Chakraborty and actress Subhashree Ganguly welcomed their second child – a daughter. On Thursday, Subhashree gave birth to her daughter at a private hospital in Kolkata. This year in June, the couple broke the news of her pregnancy on the internet. It was also reported that her delivery would take place by the end of November or early December.

Raj took to his X handle and broke the news. “Our home has been blessed with a sweet little bundle of Love. We're extremely overjoyed! Seeking only love & blessings for our little princess,” he wrote.

Raj and Subhashree’s first child, Yuvaan, was born during the pandemic. When the couple broke the news of her second pregnancy, they posted a photo of their son. They wrote that Yuvaan was ready to be the ‘big brother’. 

During her second pregnancy, Subhashree was seen keeping herself busy. She was shooting for a dance reality show. In fact, she posted photos of her workout regimen. She suggested all the would-be mothers to discuss with their doctors to get on to a workout routine.
