The trend of fans following their favourite Tamil stars at different places has witnessed an influx in recent times. One common place where stars often become surprised with the presence of their hardcore fans is Chennai airport. Superstar Rajinikanth is the latest celeb who encountered a couple of unexpected guests at the airport when he was on his way to Rajasthan to join the shooting of Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer.

One of his excited fans was seen shouting "Thalaivaa" after he met his matinee idol. The slightly upset Superstar advised him not to follow him everywhere and even offered him a piece of advice.

The Annaatthe star told him to concentrate on his work and lead a productive life. Interestingly, the fan took to his Twitter page to share the experience and showered praise on the great advice he had offered.

His tweet evoked mixed reactions from netizens. Many appreciated Rajini for not encouraging his fan from following him, but came down heavily on the star's admirer for shamelessly sharing it on social media. Some of them asked him to take Thalaivar's suggestion seriously to come up in life.

The star received a rousing welcome in Jaisalmer where shooting has been scheduled. Mohanlal, who is sharing the screen space for the first time with Rajinikanth, is also said to be part of the Rajasthan schedule. The Mollywood superstar was already in the state as he was shooting there for Lijo Jose Pellissery's much-hyped Malaikottai Valiban.

Jailer is said to be releasing on August, though an official update is awaited. There are also speculations that the movie might be postponed to Deepavali if no other big ticket flick is eyeing the festival.
