Here's a new update on Rajinikanth's Annaatthe, titled Pethanna in Telugu. The official teaser of the film was unveiled by the makers some time back and it is interesting.
This clip features the superstar who hails from an area that is filled with rich culture and traditions in a typical South Indian rural background. Rajinikanth is touted to be the messiah, Annaatthe, Pethanna or village of the area who looks like he is revered by all. You will get to see a big hearted man, who is not hesitant to turn violent when fighting the wrong and does so with style.
Pethanna is set to hit the big screens in Andhra Pradesh. The film will also be distributed in North India by the distribution network of UFO Moviez. Talking about its teaser, it was earlier launched by the Telugu superstar Venkatesh who lauded the short clip and conveyed his wishes to Rajinikanth.
Although the same movie, the level and impact that is created when it comes out in another language is a whole new experience. Similarly for the Telugu version of Annaatthe, watching its latest teaser in a different language created a whole new impact.
The upcoming Rajinikanth starrer talks about a revered man from a rural area who is cheery and good-hearted. In the teaser, we get to see the man getting high on action by trashing goons and blowing up vehicles along with the entire action package prevalent in South Indian entertainment. In a previous promo, we saw him ride the bullet with style while wielding a machete and carrying an enraging expression. On the whole, the upcoming action-drama promises oodles of entertainment.
Recently, the makers were out with Annaatthe’s third single composed by D Imman. Titled Marudhaani, the song is a full-on celebration in a traditional style. Touted to be a track filled with wedding beats and elements, you get to see Thalaivar shaking his leg along with his 90s co-stars Khushbu and Meena.
Helmed by Siruthai Siva and backed by Sun Pictures, Annaatthe also features Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Prakash Raj, Jagapathu Babu and Abimanyu Singh among others in pivotal roles.
