Rajkumar Periasamy comes up with an update on his big budget film with Sivakarthikeyan, leaves fans thrilled

Kollywood film buffs were excited when Kamal Haasan announced that he's going to produce a movie under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International with Sivakarthikeyan playing the lead in it. The untitled project has Sony Pictures Films India, too, associated with it in production. 

Later, Sai Pallavi was roped in to play the female lead and her picture with Kamal and director Rajkumar Periasamy went viral in no time. Siva and the Gargi actor expressed mutual admiration as well on social media. 

However, it's been a while since makers have come up with an update on the film. Siva went ahead and completed Prince which was released last year, and followed it up with Maaveeran which is expected to hit the screens after a few months. He had celebrated his birthday the other day during the film's shooting. 

Rajkumar himself has now revealed an update on the movie's progress after extending birthday wishes to the Doctor star. He posted a photo with Siva and said that the actor is preparing for his role. Rajkumar also promised that it will be worth the wait. He tweeted, "for all the fans asking for updates: Wait for it, Your @Siva_Kartikeyan is “gearing” up. This will be worth your wait! (sic)."

The long-delayed movie Ayalaan helmed by Ramkumar is another project Siva has in his kitty. The makers are busy with post production works for the film which is touted as a sci-fi drama. 

The first single from the ambitious project, Vera Level Sago, was unveiled long ago. The peppy track composed by AR Rahman was instantly lapped up by fans. Movie buffs are quite eager to know about an update from the team.
