Today, the streaming service revealed the first look at the second instalment of the franchise, which is based on genuine events from declassified army missions. It features Barun Sobti engraving the patriotic narrative of Naib Subedar Sombir Singh. Produced by Juggernaut Studios, this tale of bravery, pride, and inspiration will soon be available to view for free on Amazon miniTV.
In it, the story of Junior Commissioned Officer Naib Subedar Sombir Singh delves deeply into patriotic impulses. In a joint operation with DYSP Aman Kumar Thakur in Kulgam district, he and Thakur were able to neutralise terrorists, protecting residents and the nation's integrity. Naib Subedar Sombir Singh and DYSP Aman Kumar Thakur strongly believed in safeguarding the nation from extremist dangers. Chapter 2 of Rakshak: India’s Braves delves into the story of the Kulgam operation, revealing their courage and devotion. For their valiant efforts in counter-militancy operations, Naib Subedar Sombir Singh was awarded "The Shaurya Chakra," and DYSP Aman Kumar Thakur was honoured with the "Sher-E-Kashmir" Medal for Gallantry. A moving tribute to the two honorary heroes who died in the line of duty, the series features gripping battle scenes.
