The highly auspicious and much-awaited spiritual moment has finally arrived with many celebrities taking part in the momentous occasion enthusiastically. From Bollywood to Tollywood, cinema stars from several entertainment industries in India gathered today for the much-anticipated Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony held in Ayodhya on January 22. The superstars of cinema – Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth – have now arrived for the consecration ceremony, joining celebrities such as Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Rohit Shetty, and several others.

Amitabh Bachchan arrives with son Abhishek 

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan graced the consecration ceremony as he arrived with his son Abhishek Bachchan in the ethnic kurta and a shawl, adorned with a red holy chunni, just like any other devotee. The arrival of Lord Ram to his birthplace Ayodhya is a grand event, celebrating emotions and spirituality and is anticipated to be attended by over 7000 celebrities from a myriad of sectors, from sports personalities to cinema stars.

The senior Bachchan also shared a red flag on his X (formerly Twitter) to highlight his attendance at the grand holy celebration.

Tamil star Rajinikanth at Ayodhya

The recently built Ram Mandir has been witnessing the arrival of many Indian celebrities and media personalities amid the constant chants of Lord Ram, ahead of the consecration or Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The superstar of South, Rajinikanth, also arrived and seated patiently ahead of PM Modi’s ritual ceremony. Following the inaugural ceremonies, the holy shrine will be opened for the public devotees tomorrow but for today the event is marked for the renowned personalities.

For the event, the Jailer actor wore a white traditional kurta-pajama, adding a touch of warmth with a brown cashew color pashmina shawl.

Telugu stars Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, and Dhanush also marked their presence for the auspicious occasion, along with the Bollywood giants like Madhuri Dixit Nene with her husband, the power couples, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif arriving in their ethnic wears like silk sarees and kurta-pajamas.

Meanwhile, more celebs are awaited throughout the event on Monday.
