The wait is officially over! The first look, along with the announcement video of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, has been unveiled by the makers, and it indeed is giving goosebumps due to its flawless visuals. Fans took to the comments section and started showering love on the actors and the video.
On July 3, the makers of Ramayana shared the announcement video featuring the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana. The video is a celebration of the immortal story of Rama vs Ravana in the history of the Ramayana.
In the 3-minute announcement video, Ranbir looks promising as Rama, who is facing off against Yash's Ravana. To be honest, Ravana's role can be perfectly played by Yash, as it seems in the video. Meanwhile, the makers also announced that Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.
Reacting to the video, one fan said, "World is my Yash boss territory." Another commented, "Legendary." A third fan said, "Absolute cinema." "Ranbir + yash + sai pallavi + sunny deol = totally goosebumps in theatre," read one comment.

The Ramayana team will release a 7-minute-long visual showreel closer to the film's theatrical release, which is Diwali 2026. Nitesh Tiwari's mythological epic stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lord Lakshman. Apart from them, Arun Govil, Indira Krishnan, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, are an integral part of the project as per reports.
