Ramayana, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, is finally living up to the hype. The first look, which is through the announcement video, screams pure gold. Right from the fine introductions of Lord Rama, Shiva the Destroyer, Brahma the Creator and Vishnu the Protector through VFX to Ranbir Kapoor and Yash's first glimpse and the end with the Om logo, everything about the announcement video screams 'gold'.
Speaking on the same, Nitesh Tiwari shares, "Ramayana is a story we’ve all grown up with. It carries the soul of our culture. Our aim was to honour that soul — and present it with the cinematic scale it truly deserves. As a filmmaker, it’s both a huge responsibility and a heartfelt honour to bring it to life. . It’s a tale that has endured across millennia because it speaks to something deep and eternal within us. We are not simply making a film. We are offering a vision — one rooted in reverence, shaped by excellence, and made to transcend borders."

Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Rama, who was out seeking peace in the forest for 14 years, away from a materialistic life.
Sai Pallavi plays the role of his wife, Goddess Sita, who Lord Rama pledged to protect with his life.
Ravie Dubey is seen in the role of Lord Lakshman, who is Lord Rama's brother and is always by his side through thick and thin.
Sunny Deol embraces the role of Lord Hanuman, who worships Lord Rama and is ready for any kind of sacrifice demanded of him.
Kannada superstar Yash, best known for his role in the KGF film franchise, plays the role of Raavan. While looked upon as the lead antagonist for kidnapping Goddess Sita, there are layers to his character, too (being a disciple of Lord Shiva), which the makers could tap into.
