Nitesh Tiwari's film adaptation of Ramayana has been the subject of increasing excitement ever since speculation began. Key roles and plot points for the ambitious mythological drama, which is supported by producer Namit Malhotra, were announced earlier this year. But fans are most eager for the formal announcement, which is a banner, logo, or teaser. Eventually, that time will come to a close.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, July 3, 2025, is the day of the debut of the official Ramayana logo and the official launch of the project will also be announced. Insiders close to the development of the film told the entertainment portal that the logo launch will take place digitally and it will reconfirm and re-announce the release dates for parts one and two of Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
Two parts will make up the film and fans have been hoping for a teaser drop with the logo, but according to insiders, that isn't happening just yet. The source also said that a teaser for the Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi starrer is ready, but its launch is not planned for the near future. The insider further explained that the delay is due to the fact that the release of the Nitesh Tiwari film is still nearly one and a half years away.
However, the teaser, which is supposed to be about three minutes long, is already available. Nevertheless, the makers are patiently awaiting the ideal time to reveal the magnificent realm of the legendary epic. The insider further stated that the world will be introduced to the grand world of the mythological tale by the makers of the magnum opus at the right moment.
Producer Namit Malhotra recently discussed the inspiration for Ramayana at the WAVES Summit 2025. He declared that this is an Indian story that his team wants to share with the world. Their goal is to use technology in a way that makes the culture, characters, and stories more genuine.
With Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role of Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi in the role of Goddess Sita, Ravi Dubey in the role of Lakshman, Yash in the role of Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. On Diwali 2026, the first part of the film will be released, and on Diwali 2027, the second part.
