Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana has been making waves on social media ever since it was announced. The first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana has already impressed fans so much that they can't wait for the release. Ramayana Part 1 is all set to hit theaters in Diwali 2026. Ahead of it, a report mentioned that Yash will have a full-fledged role with Ranbir and Sai Pallavi. More exciting details are below!
Yash to have a full-fledged role in Ramayana Part 1
Pinkvilla reported that Yash, who will be seen as Ravana in Ramayana, has a full-length role with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in Part One. “Yash started shooting for Ramayana: Part One on April 30, and has shot for over 50 days for just the first installment. He has a screen time in excess of one hour in Ramayana: Part One, which acts as a build-up for the battle royale for the second part. Ramayana: Part,” revealed the source.
The source further added that Nitesh Tiwari is presenting Ramayan: Part 1 in a very interesting way, as he is presenting the characters of Rama and Ravana appropriately with the back story, as this will make the impact of Ramayana: Part 2 even bigger.
“The entire Ramayana team reunites for the second part from August. The sequences for part two need a lot of combination dates from Ranbir, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Sai Pallavi. The entire team is excited to can the war sequences through the second half of 2025,” the source added.

Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming mythological epic, Ramayana, stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Ravie Dubey as Lord Lakshman. Apart from them, Arun Govil, Indira Krishnan, Lara Dutta, and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing key characters in the film.
