Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is one Bollywood movie that has everyone buzzing even before the film is officially announced. Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in the film is ensuring that he lives up to the massive expectations placed on him. As per the latest update from the much-anticipated film, his look in the film will not use any CGI or VFX.

Ranbir Kapoor opts out of CGI or VFX to achieve Lord Ram's look in Ramayana

It was just a couple of days ago when we saw Ranbir Kapoor's viral video where he is dedicatedly preparing for his character. Well, it seems that the Animal actor is making a sincere attempt to make his portrayal of Lord Rama look as authentic as possible even when technologies like visual effects are easily available for the films to make better and bigger but the actor seems to be taking the difficult path.

As reported by India Today, a source recently revealed that Ranbir has informed Nitesh Tiwari that he doesn't want to opt for VFX or CGI on his face or body to make him look young but he wants to keep it all real. The actor is working hard to lose all those extra kilos that he gained for his recently released blockbuster film, Animal.

The source was quoted as saying by the portal, "Ranbir doesn’t want to look muscular. Whatever frame he had gained for Animal, he has had to lose it for Ramayana. The more challenging areas for him to lose weight have been his face and torso which he had gained during Animal."

Meanwhile, Ramayana has been all over the news even before its official announcement. The film which stars Ranbir as Lord Rama will also feature Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Lara Dutta and the OG Lord Ram Arun Govil in pivotal roles. The first schedule of the film is currently in the process.
