Rare picture of a bed ridden 'Ramoji Film City' owner Ramoji Rao goes viral
Ramoji Rao, the chairperson of Eenadu Group of Companies needs no introduction. He is one of the most prominent and influential people in the Telugu states and owns the world's biggest film studio, Ramoji Film City. For the last few months, not much is known about him. But now a picture from his residence has gone viral on social media and has become a talking point all over.
Seen here in the picture is a bed ridden Ramoji Rao. The word is that he is suffering from age related issues and has been getting treated at his home. He is in his mid 80's and has not been keeping well from the last few months as per the news. Seen here is the media baron with a waist band tied to his waist.
Ramoji Rao, who maintains a very low profile and lives in the Ramoji Film City, is one of the most influential people in the Telugu states and owns the Telugu daily Eenadu. Off late, he has been under pressure as Ramoji Rao and his daughter-in-law Sailaja Kiran were served notices by the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department in connection with the Margadarsi Chit Funds case.
Ramoji Film City is the most happening film studio in the country as hundreds of films have been shot here. Companies owned by the Ramoji Group include Margadarsi Chit Fund, Eenadu newspaper, ETV Network, Ramadevi Public School, Priya Foods, Kalanjali, Ushakiran Movies and the Ramoji Film City near Hyderabad. He is also the chairman of Dolphin Group of Hotels in Andhra Pradesh.
