Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt pregnant: Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Ishaan Khatter and others congratulate soon-to-be parents

It's an exciting year for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The couple stole hearts with their dreamy wedding in April this year and are all set to share the screen for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus, Brahmastra. But the couple have more exciting things to look forward to, and not just on the work front either. The two recently announced their pregnancy, with Alia sharing a delightful photograph of the couple looking at a sonograph and captioning it “Our baby coming soon”. Suffice to say, well wishes came pouring in for one of Bollywood’s favourite couples.

The Brahmastra team seemed to be on the forefront when it came to congratulating the couple. Karan Johar, who is a producer on the film, made it known just how happy he was for the couple, writing “Heart is bursting”. Mouni Roy, who stars in the film, also shared how happy she was for the couple.

The happy couple’s family too sent their well wishes. Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and Alia’s mother Soni Razdan too expressed their elation at the couple’s announcement.

Parineeti Chopra, Tiger Shroff, Priyanka Chopra, Ishaan Khatter, Vaani Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Rakul Preet Singh, and many more also commented on Alia’s post with well wishes for the Brahmastra couple.

Ranbir and Alia’s film Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna, is slated for release on September 9. The mom-to-be’s upcoming releases also include Darlings, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and her debut Hollywood film Heart of Stone. Ranbir will be making his onscreen comeback with Shamshera this year. The actor is also working on an untitled film helmed by Luv Ranjan as well.
