Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are currently on a promotional spree for their highly anticipated film 'Animal,' written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. During one of these events, the two actors appeared on Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna's show, "Unstoppable with NBK." In their conversation with the superstar, Ranbir hinted at Rashmika’s relationship with Vijay Deverakonda.
During the conversation, Balakrishna asked Rashmika to pick her favorite poster between Arjun Reddy and Animal. To add some humor, Ranbir teased Rashmika by asking her to choose her favorite actor between Vijay and himself. This left Rashmika speechless, and she refused to participate. Later, Balakrishna asked Vanga to call Vijay, to which Ranbir quickly added, “Sir, let Rashmika call, Vijay won’t pick up his call” which left Rashmika blushing.
Further teasing her, Ranbir added, “Don’t show the phone what the name is huh,” which led her to change Vijay’s contact name. Later, when Vanga called Vijay, he answered the phone, and the director handed it over to Rashmika. During the call, Vijay casually said, "What's up, re?" and Rashmika warned him that the call was on speaker, and the audience was listening. Teasing Vijay, Ranbir and Balakrishna asked him whom he loved more, and the actor responded by mentioning Vanga's name.
Then, they turned to Rashmika and asked her to choose between an Animal poster and Vijay's Arjun Reddy poster. In response, Rashmika said, “I have a connection with Arjun Reddy of its release so I have a connection with Arjun Reddy and Animal is my film, I like both of them.”
Ranbir Kapoor then revealed an interesting story and said, “Sandeep met Rashmika for the first time at Arjun Reddy’s success party on Vijay’s terrace.” This left her speechless as she said, “It’s not necessary to give all this information.”
For the unversed, Animal was supposed to release on August 11, but due to post-production issues, the film was further delayed, and now it will have a clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur as both the films will be releasing on December 1.
