Ranjithame: Team Varisu unveils Vijay's still with Rashmika and Thaman ahead of the film's first single release

The makers of Varisu had released a sneak peek video of its first single Ranjithame a couple of days ago. As fans are eagerly looking forward to the complete track which will be unveiled today evening, the team has come up with more surprises.

Thaman, who has composed the peppy song, posted a still of him posing for a photo along with Vijay shot inside a caravan. The excited composer said that he is as elated as the star's fans on the occasion of the song's release and added that today is his Deepavali. Vijay fans thanked him for releasing a picture of their matinee idol and expressed their love for him.

After a while, the social media page of the movie's production house released a still from the movie featuring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. The vibrant poster with the announcement of the single today has sent fans into a tizzy. They are going gaga over the new pair in K-Town.

Rashmika had earlier revealed that she is a huge fan of Vijay and movie buffs are waiting to see the two sharing screen space in Varisu. The family entertainer, which has been slated for a Pongal release, will hit the screens in January 2023. 

The film features a bevy of actors including Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and Shaam among others. Varisu will have a clash with Ajith's Thunivu at the box office. Film lovers are already kicked about the two stars coming together after almost a decade's hiatus. 

The Vamshi Paidipally directorial will be released in Telugu under the title Vaarasudu. It will face two biggies - Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy - in Tollywood as well.
