Ranveer Singh is one of the busiest actors in the Hindi film industry currently with a lot of releases coming soon. After Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the actor is currently busy with Don 3. And when we all thought that Ranveer would be busy with three films this year including Don 3, Singham Again, and Shaktimaan, recent reports state that the actor has signed yet another film. The Padmaavat actor is all set to collaborate with URI director Aditya Dhar for a big-budget action thriller.
Details about Ranveer Singh Aditya Dhar's project
The film, which Ranveer is yet to sign, will go on floors in April/May 2024, according to the reports by Pinkvilla. The source tells the portal that post-Vicky Kaushal starrer URI: The Surgical Strike, Aditya Dhar has been in search of a unique project and now with Ranveer Singh on board, he is planning to make a big-budget action thriller.
In the film, Ranveer will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar which will be set against the backdrop of Indian Intelligence agencies. "It’s a real, heroic, and larger-than-life world. Ranveer and Aditya have met 4 to 5 times over the last 3 weeks and the paperwork is expected to be locked shortly," Pinkvilla quoted the source as saying.
The source further says that Ranveer is super kicked up for the project and has said yes right after hearing the script. He even asked his staff to rearrange his calendar so he could put Aditya Dhar's film on priority. "While Don 3 and Shaktimaan have been in the planning stage for a while now, the Aditya Dhar film has just come together organically in the forefront for Ranveer Singh," the source further added.
It is to be noted that earlier, Ranveer Singh was supposed to begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Baiju Bawra in April 2024. Don 3 was scheduled to begin filming in January 2025 whereas Shatiman was placed for the second half of 2025. "The revised work calendar for Ranveer Singh now is – Aditya Dhar’s next by May 2024, followed by Don 3 from August/September 2024, and Shaktimaan from May/June 2025," the source informed.
