Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar locks teaser release date | Here's when it will drop
Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar is all set to premiere its teaser in July. As per a report, around 75 per cent of the film has already been shot, and the makers are aiming to call it a wrap by September.

Aditya Dhar is all set for his upcoming film, Dhurandhar. He made his directorial debut with the blockbuster URI: The Surgical Strike alongside Vicky Kaushal. Ever since Dhurandhar was announced, fans have been awaiting every single update about the film. Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film has a stellar cast including Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Vikash Rai, and Arjun Rampal. Now, a report revealed the teaser release date of Dhurandhar.
Dhurandhar teaser release date
As per a Pinkvilla report, the teaser for Dhurandhar will be released on Ranveer Singh's birthday, which is July 6. The source mentioned that Aditya Dhar is all set for a great teaser of his ambitious directorial venture, Dhurandhar, and it is a birthday special unit, which will introduce the world of espionage to the film-loving audience.
"This would mark the first official asset of the film, and the entire team is confident to take the audience on a thrilling ride. It’s a birthday gift from the makers to Ranveer Singh and his fans,” the source added.
The source further added that Dhurandhar is a period espionage thriller primarily set in the era of the 1970s and 1980s in Pakistan. The film also contains some present-day elements, which are being kept under wraps for now, as Ajit Doval remains a prominent figure in the system with a legacy spanning four decades.

Around 75 per cent of the shooting has already been completed and the makers are aiming to wrap up the film by September. The release date of Dhurandhar will be announced after the film's shooting is completed. Meanwhile, Jio Studios and Aditya Dhar are currently working towards a release between January and March.
Arjun Rampal on Dhurandhar
In a new interview with the Indian Express, Arjun Rampal, who was recently seen in Rana Naidu Season 2, opened up about Dhurandhar and working with Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Vikash Rai.
Rampal said, "Well, I think you all should just be really happy that this film is being made, we all are. Aditya Dada is a genius, truly. I’ve worked with him, and he never ceases to surprise me, every single time."
He also said that Ranveer is in top-top form, Sanjay, Akshay, Madhavan, and others are in top-top form. "And I’m trying to be in top-top form myself! So yeah, it’s going to be a ride that everyone should get ready to take," Arjun said.
