Rashmika Mandanna was in Mumbai today (November 22) to promote her film Animal. Both Rashmika and her co-star Ranbir Kapoor were spotted by paparazzi outside a studio and one paparazzo shared a video of the actress teaching Ranbir Telugu. This happened after Ranbir was asked to speak a few words in Telugu. 

While he did say 'Andariki Namaskaram', Rashmika helped him speak more Telugu words. The actress also revealed the meaning of the words she taught Ranbir.

Rashmika teaches Ranbir Telugu

The video of Rashmika teaching Telugu to Ranbir has gone viral on social media. The clip begins with Ranbir asking a paparazzo how he knows Telugu, to which the paparazzo says Telugu is his mother tongue. Later, Ranbir sweetly tell him, "Andariki namaskaram (namaste to everyone)."

Rashmika then goes on to teach Ranbir some more Telugu words. She says, "Bagunaanu. Meeru bagunara." When the actor asked his co-star the meaning, she explained, "Are you well? I am well."

Animal, Ranbir and Rashmika's first film together

For those who are unaware, Animal is Ranbir and Rashmika's first silver-screen project. Parineeti Chopra was earlier expected to star in the film. After she quit the movie, the Mission Majnu actress was roped in for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film. Rashmika plays Ranbir's love interest, Geetanjali, in the film, while Anil Kapoor will be seen as RK's father, Balbir Singh.

More about Animal

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Bobby Deol. The film is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 1, 2023. It will clash with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the box office. The movie has been backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Pranay Reddy Vanga.

Ranbir Kapoor to take a break from acting after Animal

Meanwhile, Ranbir has confirmed that he is taking a break from acting for a few months. The actor has not signed any new projects as he intends to spend more time with his family, especially with his daughter Raha, who recently turned one.
