Rasika Dugal gives an update on the release date of one of the most awaited third season of Mirzapur.

Mirzapur 3 is going to return for the third season and fans are eagerly anticipating the show since Amazon Prime Video announced the third season. Rasika Dugal, who played an important part in the show left a huge impact on the show. The show has an outstanding ensemble including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, and Divyendu Sharma, among others. Rasika recently spoke about the release date of the show as well as why the franchise is a hit among the audiences.
Speaking about why the franchise is a hit among the audiences, Rasika Dugal told PTI, "It’s lovely to have the adulation, and the fan following that Mirzapur has, it is very beautiful to have it in my life, the loyalty is very strong for the show. I’m very happy that we’ve done season 3 and audiences will soon get to watch it. I’m very excited for them."
She also mentioned that the show has a massive fan following because audiences are invested in the characters. She said, "It’s not about the snazziness of the show. It’s about people’s connection to that character, and we’ve already done that, and we do that work every season." Shredding light on the upcoming season, she said that the team has done their best for the third season as well.
Meanwhile, a few days ago, when Divyendu Sharma was asked if he was a part of the third season as there are many fan theories, he revealed that he is not a part of the third season. He told Humans of Bombay, "I am not part of season 3 guys. I know it's a heartbreak...I love those conspiracy theories, they were legit. But on Humans of Bombay, I shall declare that I am not part of Mirzapur Season 3."
Mirzapur Season 1 was released on 16 November 2018 and was a massive hit amongst the viewers. Season 2 was released on October 23, 2020, and was equally loved by the audiences. Since then, fans have been waiting for the third season, which will be released on Amazon Prime Video.
