Raveena Tandon, who will be leading the upcoming Disney+ original series Karmma Calling, opened up about her daughter Rasha’s acting debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s next film, the title of which has not been revealed yet. The thriller will release soon, speculatively on February 9, 2024.

Rasha Tandon’s childhood inclination towards acting

In an interview with Times Now, Raveena Tandon shared details about her daughter’s debut opposite Ajay Devgan’s nephew Aaman Devgan. She described Rasha’s fascination with films and acting since childhood, ‘Rasha used to always be in front of the mirror and dancing.’

She continued by sharing how Rasha has not only seen her hit project Andaz Apna Apna but also explored more films of her mom. The actress amusingly noted on a contrary note that her son has only seen two films of hers, Andaz Apna Apna and Dulhe Raja. ‘My son is more academically inclined,’ Tandon explained, with little inclination towards watching any of her films.

When talking about her support or belief in her children’s future, Raveena Tandon firmly asserted, ‘They both have to make it on their own and stand on their own feet.’ She assured that she would always be by their side to guide them, whether their decisions are right or wrong. But in the end, the decision will be theirs, the actress clarified.

Raveena Tandon further confirmed her daughter’s debut and expressed her hope that they would like it. She also revealed that the budding debutante has been working hard at perfecting and honing her craft’s new project.

Taran Adarsh had also shared a tweet yesterday, announcing Rasha’s action adventure film’s upcoming premier along with Abhshek Kapoor’s next directorial venture, Sharaabi. As for Raveena Tandon, the actress’ next Karmma Calling will see her as a wealthy socialite who reigns over her Alibaug social circle, when a mysterious girl called Karma Talwar enters her life.

Uneasy of the girl’s growing involvement with her son, Raveena’s Indrani Kothari takes to uncovering the girl’s past, and stumbles upon shocking revelations and chilling vengeance. A remake of the highly-acclaimed ABC drama Revenge, Karmma Calling sounds interesting, while Rasha Thadani’’s debut is awaited with curiousity.
