The actor shares his excitement for the pan-Indian film in a promotional interview with director Sandeep Raj
Ravi Teja and Vamsee
Ravi Teja, who’s usually selective about his media appearances, is going all out to promote his pan-Indian film Tiger Nageswara Rao across the country. He’s never looked so optimistic and enthusiastic about his film’s result and it says a thing or two about the upbeat mood within the camp. He, director Vamsee, Colour Photo maker Sandeep Raj came together for a promotional interview recently.
While the interview will be launched tomorrow, a glimpse of the video was shared by the makers today. Interestingly, Sandeep reveals how Ravi Teja got to do four films with three directors who have a ‘Vamsee’ in their names. He was referring to veteran filmmaker Vamsy (Ounu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru), director Krishna Vamsi (Sindhuram, Khadgam) and Tiger Nageswara Rao maker Vamsee.
Talking about the film, Ravi Teja shared, “Tiger Nageswara Rao is the most exciting character I’ve come across after Vikram Singh Rathore (in SS Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu). I don’t like to plan things in my career; the pan-Indian film was destined to happen now. I was confident about the film after Vamsee sent me the look of the film (motion poster).”
When Sandeep asked the star about his expectations surrounding the film, he responded, “Whenever I enjoyed the process, a film has never disappointed me. I am very sure about this film.” Meanwhile, director Vamsee insisted that all the characters in the biopic are real. He was particularly surprised by how the star immersed himself in the character, before they were shooting for the climax.
The video featuring their conversation will be out at 11.07 am tomorrow. Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj play the female leads in the film that also stars Renu Desai, Nassar, Murali Sharma, Jisshu Sengupta, Sudev Nair, Hareesh Peradi. Abhishek Agarwal is the producer of the film while GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music.
