Filmmakers Raj and DK had pulled off a casting coup by roping in Vijay Sethupathi and Shahid Kapoor for their web series which will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. Raashi Khanna, too, joined the cast later, and had shared a few BTS moments from the location on her social media account.

The team has now surprised one and all by bringing Regina Cassandra on board for playing a prominent role in the project. The actress was last seen in SonyLIV's Kasada Tabara which was directed by Chimbudeven.

Raj and DK's series features Amol Palekar, Zakir Hussain and Kay Kay Menon, too, essaying pivotal roles in it. The project went on floors earlier this year and Vijay Sethupathi had joined the team a couple of months ago. We hear that Regina has already started shooting for her portions in Mumbai. Goa is another location where the team was shooting for a major schedule. The makers are planning to wrap up the shooting in a month or two. Regina is said to be playing Sethupathi's wife in the project.

Interestingly, they play a couple in Mugizh, which is yet to release. The one-hour web film produced by Sethupathi himself has his daughter playing a crucial role in it. Sethupathi had joined hands with Raashi, too, in a couple of movies earlier. Meanwhie, Regina has Soorpanagai, Borrder, Party and Kallapart in her kitty. On the other hand, Sethupathi has had a slew of OTT releases since the lockdown came into being last year. Ka Pae Ranasingam, Tughlaq Durbar and Annabelle Sethupathi are his movies which had a premiere on Zee5, Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar respectively. It is heard that the makers of a couple of his upcoming projects are also in talks with streaming platforms.
