RJ Balaji takes the plunge into thriller genre, next outing with Aishwarya Rajesh titled Run Baby Run

RJ Balaji, who has been keen on being part of fun-filled dramas like LKG and Mookuthi Amman, will next be seen in a thriller. The movie helmed by Jiyen Krishnakumar has been slated as a theatrical release in February. The director shot to fame after his Mollywood project Tiyaan, which starred Prithviraj and Indrajith.

His latest movie has been titled Run Baby Run. Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen essaying a crucial role in it apart from Radhika Sarathkumar and Smruthi Venkat. Sam CS has been roped in to compose music for the project.

The team has unveiled its first look poster which features Balaji and Aishwarya sporting serious expressions. After the success of Sardar, S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures has bankrolled the film which has cinematography by S Yuva and editing by G Madan. R Sakthi Saravanan is in charge of stunt choreography while Veeramani Ganesan has helmed art direction.

The film's digital rights have been bagged by Disney+ Hotstar while its satellite rights have been acquired by Vijay TV. The project went on floors earlier this year in Chennai. Run Baby Run marks the collaboration of Balaji and Aishwarya for the first time.

Balaji was last seen in Veetla Vishesham earlier this year. The movie which was the official remake of Badhaai Ho was a hit at the box office. Movie lovers are curious to know how Balaji is going to headline a thriller flick. The makers are expected to announce the exact release date of the project soon.

The film will be Aishwarya's second outing in 2023 after Farhana which has been slated for a theatrical release on January 26. The actress, who has half-a-dozen movies in her kitty, had no theatrical releases in 2022.
