Robinhood box office collection day 2: Nithiin-Sreeleela’s heist film starts slow, but will it capitalise on Eid weekend?

Robinhood, the recently released Telugu film starring actors Nithiin and Sreeleela in the lead roles, is currently running in cinemas. The film has managed to collect Rs 2 crore at the box office on its first day. The film is expected to get picked up over the weekend. Directed by Venky Kudumula, it is a heist action comedy.

Actors Nithiin and Sreeleela starred in the 2025 Telugu heist comedy-action film. It hit theatres on March 28, Friday. Written and directed by Venky Kudumula, the film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, which is also bankrolling the upcoming Tamil film Good Bad Ugly. As per the Sacnilk report, the film has collected Rs 2 crore at the box office on its first day. The film is likely to earn more, given the Eid weekend is here.

Robinhood opened to mixed to decent reviews upon its release. The film revolves around an orphan named Ram who steals from the rich to give to the poor, typical of the Robin Hood character. However, a series of events leads Ram to get connected with a drug empire kingpin.

The film stars Sreeleela as the female lead. It is to be noted that when the film was first announced, actor Rashmika Mandanna was announced to be part of the project. However, the Pushpa actor had to step down due to scheduling conflicts. Apart from Nithiin and Sreeleela, the film also stars Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage and Shine Tom Chacko. Cricket star David Warner makes a cameo appearance in Robinhood.

Sreeleela to make her Tamil debut soon

Actor Sreeleela, who has won the hearts of many with her dancing and acting skills, will be making her Tamil debut with the upcoming Parasakthi. The film is headlined by Sivakarthikeyan and also stars Atharvaa and Ravi Mohan in prominent roles. It is written and directed by Sudha Kongara.
