Madhavan's latest movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which also marked his directorial debut, opened to positive reviews from critics and film buffs upon its release on July 1. The biopic on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan has been garnering appreciation for its emotional connect with the audience, effective screenplay and performances of artists.
The extended cameo of Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in the film's Hindi and Tamil versions respectively has been another highlight of the movie. Madhavan has been promoting the project quite aggressively through social media, thanking the audience and replying to almost everyone from his Twitter page ever since its theatrical release.
What's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect about?
The acclaimed movie's story revolves around the life of Nambi Narayanan. While the first half of the film touches upon his attempts to make India proud with revolutionary inventions in the field of aerospace, the latter half deals with the unfortunate incidents he faced in life after he was accused of espionage.
Simran, Karthik Kumar, Misha Ghoshal, Dinesh Prabhakar and Mohan Raman among others essayed key roles in the film which witnessed a spike in its box office performance on day two and day three of its release.
When and where to watch Rocketry: The Nambi Effect online?
A couple of days after the theatrical release of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, there were reports that the film will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video soon. It dropped on the platform on July 26, a few days before it completed a month of its theatrical run.
Earlier today, Madhavan took to Twitter to inform his fans that 120 shows of the film are still available to watch in theatres in Mumbai. Rocketry is streaming in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada languages, too, on Amazon Prime Video.
