The film was a blockbuster thanks to the gripping narrative, amazing action, and Ajay’s character as a policeman. Today, as the film completed 13 years of release, filmmaker Rohit Shetty shared a special post on his social media handle.
Rohit Shetty celebrates 13 years of Singham
On his Instagram account, Rohit Shetty shared a video clip that begins with ‘Today we complete 13 years of Singham’ text. The video is dedicated to his blockbuster film and has a slide show of pictures featuring Ajay Devgn and Rohit from the sets of Singham. In the video, the filmmaker also revealed that they have completed the shooting of Singham Again with Ajay.
Shetty showcases his entire journey in the film industry with Ajay. He added, “33 years later, we are still going strong.” He captioned the post, “13 years of Singham, 33 years of brotherhood @ajaydevgn #SinghamAgain.”

For the uninitiated, Shetty was an assistant director in multiple Ajay Devgn starrer films including Phool Aur Kaante, Suhaag, Haqeeqat, Pyaar Toh Hona Tha, and Raju Chacha. He finally started his journey as a director in the year 2003 with the film Zameen. Since then there’s no going back for the director as he continued to deliver multiple hits on the big screens.
