Tollywood’s Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni have delivered three blockbusters together in the Telugu film industry. The successful actor-director duo had announced their fourth collaboration, tentatively titled RT4GM. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the project will be made on a massive budget.

Director Selvaraghavan gets on board

In the latest update from the film, Kollywood director and actor Selvaraghavan has joined the team of RT4GM. The makers took to their social media handles to welcome the NGK director, who is said to play ‘a memorable character’ in the film. Interestingly, the director-actor will make his Tollywood acting debut with this film. It is being speculated that he will play the antagonist in the Ravi Teja-starrer. Further updates will be revealed by the production house soon.

More about RT4GM

The makers of the film revealed earlier that it is based on some real-life incidents. Ravi Teja will be seen in a completely new avatar in the film, which is set in the village of Chundur. The film’s first poster was shared a few months ago and was received well by fans. The music for the film is being composed by S Thaman.

Selvaraghavan's upcoming projects

The Tamil director has acted in films like Beast, Saani Kaayidham, Mark Antony, and his own directorial horror thriller, Naane Varuven. The director-turned-actor will also be seen in Dhanush’s directorial film, tentatively titled D50.

Ravi Teja’s Nageswara Rao sees a drop at the box office

Ravi Teja’s Dussehra release Tiger Nageswara Rao was maintaining a consistent performance at the box office. However, there hasn't been a noticeable increase in its earnings due to Vijay's Leo and Nandamuri Balakrishnan’s Bhagavanth Kesari racing ahead in collections. The film's performance during the upcoming weekdays will be important. According to trade reports, Tiger Nageswara Rao has not yet crossed the Rs 25 crore net mark in domestic box office collections.
