On October 1, the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets played in an NFL game at MetLife Stadium, and fans were in for a treat when Ryan Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, and Taylor Swift were there.
Reynolds spoke with Extra and discussed his emotions while Taylor, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and attended the NFL game.
“It’s a lot of fun," said Ryan. The NFL is currently seeing a kind of fever pitch that is often only seen around the Super Bowl, but it is already happening as we are in the fourth or fifth game of the season, according to Reynolds. “I played football when I was a kid. I loved it. I love watching it. I continue to, I will always watch it. It’s a great sport,” the 46-year-old Hollywood icon said.
Given Swift's growing love for Kelce, a lot of people found the coverage of the NFL game to be very entertaining. However, some sports fans weren't too pleased with the change in focus. They criticized the league's management for focusing excessively on Swift, which led to a response from the NFL.
