The makers of Saare Jahan Se Accha have dropped an announcement video featuring Pratik Gandhi. He takes charge as intelligence officer Vishnu Shankar, and shares the information in Morse code, while stating how every information is important for a spy. “The success or failure of our mission depends on it,” he is heard stating in the clip, adding that the enemy country is the target, with the end goal being to enter their yard and stop them from becoming a nuclear power. The information he shares is later decoded for the general public. “This Independence Day, our mission is clear. We have to keep India one step ahead of the enemy,” he is heard saying in the video.

Saare Jahan Se Accha will be out on Netflix from August 13. It is an espionage drama that also narrates the tale of sacrifice and national duty.
Set in the 1970s, Saare Jahan Se Accha sees Pratik Gandhi in the lead role. The Sumit Purohit directorial also stars Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor and Anup Soni in pivotal roles.
Talking about his role, Pratik shared in a media statement, "We've built a world that is urgent, intense, intimidating and full of quiet tension." He recalls Vishnu Shankar as someone who walks the tightrope between duty and morality. Thus, the actor believes it is one of his most challenging roles in the recent past. Details about the other characters are currently under wraps.
