Saaree, the film which released in multiple languages and hit theatres in April, will be available for streaming on Aha and OTTplay Premium from July 11 onwards, the streaming platform announced. Saaree is presented by veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who has also written the screenplay.

The film is a psychological thriller about a young man who spots a girl in saree and becomes obsessed with her to the extent that he becomes a stalker and threatens to be a danger in the girl's life. Directed by Giri Krishna Kamal, the film stars Aaradhya Devi, Satya Yadu, Sahil Sambhyal, Appaji Ambarish, and Kalpalatha among others. The music is scored by Sashi Preetam, Rakesh Panikela, Dsr Balaji, Keertana Sesh and Siddharth Siddu. Saaree opened to middling reviews upon its release. Speaking about the film earlier to OTTplay, Ram Gopal Varma had said that the film is about how, when love goes beyond a certain limit, it becomes an obsession and subsequently dangerous, which sometimes is the result of social media, where relationships quickly develop. The filmmaker, who wrote the script and presented the film, stated that the story of the thriller drama is inspired by real events.
