Arivazhagan, who made his debut with the thriller flick Eeram in 2009, is joining hands again with Aadhi and Thaman, the hero and composer of the movie respectively. The latest project, titled Sabdham, is tipped as a horror flick which has sound playing an important element in it.

The movie will mark the filmmaker's first production venture as well. It is expected to go on floors in the next month in Chennai. The makers launched an official ceremony which had the presence of the trio. They took to their social media pages to express excitement on the film.

Arun Padmanabhan has been roped in to crank the camera for the movie which will have editing by Sabu Joseph. Manoj Kumar and Stunner Sam will be helming art direction and stunt choreography respectively. The makers have informed that Sabdham will be a horror adventure, and that it will stand out from other movies which were released in the genre recently.

Aadhi was last seen in the bilingual The Warriorr which was released in Tamil and Telugu. He had Tollywood project Good Luck Sakhi and Tamil-Telugu OTT release Clap, too, last year. He currently has Partner in his kitty in which he will be seen along with Hansika.

Arivazhagan, on the other hand, helmed Tamil Rockerz which was released on SonyLIV a few months ago. The web series marked his OTT debut and third collaboration with Arun Vijay. His second outing with the actor, Borrder, is yet to see the light of the day.

The action thriller was first supposed to hit the screens in 2021, but postponed to a different date. Further, the film got postponed again last year. We hear that an update on its new release is expected soon.
