Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi's film has been a topic of discussion ever since they started shooting for it. They are all geared up to share screen space in a fresh pairing in a romantic drama, which was first announced in July under the working title Ek Din. But now it has been officially titled Mere Raho. The film will hit theaters on December 12, 2025.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Mere Raho, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, has been locked for a theatrical release on December 12, 2025, as per Bollywood Hungama. The film is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Mansoor Khan along with Aamir Khan. The release date puts Mere Raaho in the competitive window of December. It comes just a week after Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar and Vishal Bharadwaj's untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar will hit cinemas on December 5, 2025.

Reports suggest that Mere Raho could be based on the 2011 Korean romance 'One Day', although the makers have not confirmed this. The film promises a heartwarming mix of emotions, where Junaid steps into a role he has never played before. The film depicts the famous snow festival in Sapporo, Japan, and a large portion of it was shot in early 2024.

Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan's work front

Speaking about Junaid Khan, Mere Raho will be his third acting project and second theatrical release. He made his acting debut with Yash Raj Films’ Maharaj on OTT, which received a positive response. However, his first big-screen debut, Loveyapa, co-starring Khushi Kapoor, received mixed responses. Mere Raho is expected to give the young actor another chance to establish himself, especially with one of the most acclaimed actresses in Indian cinema, Sai Pallavi, as his co-star.

On the other hand, Sai Pallavi also has another Bollywood film, Ramayana. Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming mythological epic, Ramayana, stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Ravie Dubey as Lord Lakshman. Apart from them, Arun Govil, Indira Krishnan, Lara Dutta, and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing key characters in the film.

Meanwhile, Ramayana will be released in theatres in two parts in Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
