Salaar - Advance booking for Prabhas starrer yet to open in Telugu states, as distributors demand hike in ticket price

Salaar is one of the most-awaited films in the country and is all set to release on December 22, 2023. The advance bookings for the film in several areas have started but the Telugu states are yet to open the bookings. This is because the distributors have asked for a ticket price hike in the first week of Salaar's release.

The makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, are distributing the film in Telangana and have asked for a Rs 60 hike in the ticket price. We have come to know that the government has okayed a Rs 40 hike on each ticket but the distributors are trying hard to convince the government to allow a Rs 60 hike.

In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the distributors have asked for a straight Rs 50 hike on each ticket. The permission related to both of these requests has yet to be okayed by either government. That is the reason the advance bookings are yet to open in Telugu states.
