However, it is Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays the role of Varada Raja Mannaar in the film, who has highly impressed the netizens with his unmatched screen presence and most importantly, the dialogue delivery.
For the uninitiated, Prithviraj Sukumaran has dubbed himself for his character Varada in all five languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, for Salaar. Interestingly, the reports suggest that he is the only actor from the star cast, to perform dubbing in all languages.
The actor has conveyed the thoughts and emotions of his character with absolute ease and conviction in all five languages in the trailer. The glimpses of Prithviraj's performance as Varada have raised expectations over his character arc in the action thriller. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s role in Salaar
For the uninitiated, Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the role of Varada Raja Mannar, the future King of the city of Khansaar, in the Prashanth Neel directorial. Varada is also the best friend of protagonist Deva, played by Prabhas.
The duo’s deep friendship, which takes a different turn after Deva returns to Khansaar, thickens the plot of Salaar. If the reports are to be believed, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character in the film has grey shades. However, the actor had earlier confirmed that he was not playing the villain in the film. But, he also added that the character Varada does have an interesting journey in the film.
