Salman Khan is riding high on the success of his film Tiger 3. Recently, the actor interacted with the media. During a group interaction, Khan was asked about the current superstar of Bollywood. To this, the Tiger 3 star had an interesting answer. While responding to the question, Khan also admitted that he doesn't like to be called a 'megastar' or 'superstar'.

Salman Khan on the term 'superstar'

During the success press meet of Tiger 3, Salman Khan said, "See, whoever is a superstar in his mind, is a superstar. I don't think of that at all. So, I don't care. I mean people like to be called a superstar and a megastar. But it is something that I don't like. It doesn't show in the way I am."

The actor further mentioned, "Perhaps, it might show a bit in my walk. That walk might be considered to be an arrogant walk but that's the way I walk. I cannot change that walk. I am comfortable in that walk and comfortable in my skin. Sometimes it comes out as 'yeh dekho, inki chal dekho, apne aap ko kya samajte hai'. But that's the way I walk, bachpan se chalte aaya hu. Ab main kisi aur ki chal chalunga toh it wouldn't suit me. This is who I am and this is what I do.

Salman Khan doesn't believe in superstardom

The Dabangg actor also added, "But yes, I don't believe in this superstardom. Aise kuch kiya hi nahi ki vo superstardom ka credit akele leke jaaye. From our DOPs, and scriptwriters to directors, they help a normal average Bandra boy to look like this on screen. So, I don't like taking that credit."

About Tiger 3

Tiger 3 marked Salman's on-screen reunion with Katrina Kaif. They reprised their roles of Tiger and Zoya in the Maneesh Sharma directorial. On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi played a menacing villain.

Shah Rukh Khan made a cameo appearance as Pathaan in the film whereas Hrithik Roshan reprised his role from War in Tiger 3. The YRF movie hit the big screen on November 12 and is successfully running in cinemas.
