Even though Salman Khan has often be en termed as one of India’s ‘most eligible bachelors’, the fact remains that, his near and dear ones as well as his ‘galaxy’ (no pun intended!) of his fans are wanting to know about his marriage plans and hope that ‘Bhai’ gets married soon. Given an opportunity, many media personnel often land up asking about his marriage plans at an event or a press conference of his film or brand launch or any such occasion. Even though Salman Khan has either dodged the question or must have smiled his way out, but the recent episode of Rajat Sharma hosted ‘Aap Ki Adaalat’ had Salman Khan speaking about his marriage and other issues associated with it.
When Rajat Sharma asked Salman Khan about his marriage, the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor revealed by saying, “Woh toh plan tha. Bahu ka nahi, bachhe ka tha. Lekin woh law ke hisaab se toh Hindustan mein ho nehi sakta. Ab dekhenge kya karein, kaise karein (That was the plan. It wasn’t for a daughter-in-law though; it was for a child. But according to the Indian law it’s not possible. Now we will see what to do, how to do it)."
Rajat Sharma, in his inimitable style, cited the example of Karan Johar is now a father of two children now. That’s when Salman said, “Wahi main koshish kar raha tha. Lekin, woh law shayad change ho gaya hai, h ab dekhenge. Bachhon ka bada shaukh hai mujhe. I love kids. Lekin kids jab aate hai tab maa bhi aati hai. Maa unke liye bahut achhi hai magar humare ghar mein maa hee maa padi hai. Hamare paas pura zilla hai, pura gaon hai. Lekin unki maa peri patni hogi (That’s what I was trying to do. But, I think, perhaps that law has now been changed, so we’ll see. I love kids. But kids come with (their) mothers. Mothers are extremely good for them. But, in my house, there are way too many mothers. One could say we have a whole district, a whole village! But my kid’s mother will be my wife).
On the professional front, Salman Khan’s latest film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ opened to a not-so-disappointing response at the box-office. Salman Khan will now be seen in ‘Tiger 3’, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Ha shmi. The film is being directed by Maneesh Sharma.
