A recent episode of Bigg Boss Season 19 featured Salman Khan's customary sharp humour as he addressed old disputes, poked fun at filmmaker AR Murugadoss, and subtly poked fun at filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap.
The unexpected exchange began when comedian Ravi Gupta, a guest on the show, asked the host to name films he regretted doing. Khan, when asked for a more contemporary example, mentioned the 2025 box office bomb Sikandar after bringing up earlier titles like Sooryavanshi and Nishchay.
Claims regarding the film's failure became the focus of the discussion shortly after. Murugadoss had already levelled a criticism at Khan for allegedly being too tardy, a charge that the superstar strongly denied while also criticising the filmmaker's more recent work.

"Kya hai na, main set pe raat ke 9 baje pahuchta tha, toh usme gadbad ho gayi. Meri pasaliyan tooti thi, isne jo hamare director (AR Murugadoss) sahab hain unhone ye kaha. Lekin unki picture (Madharaasi) abhi ek release hui hai jisme actor 6 baje pahuchta tha (The thing is, I used to reach the set at 9 PM, so that's where the problem happened. My ribs were broken; that's what our director, AR Murugadoss sahab, said. But his film [Madharaasi] just released, in which the actor used to arrive at 6 PM)," Salman Khan said in response to the age-old accusation.
Khan continued by suggesting that, following the project's early difficulties, the director and producer had emotionally detached themselves. Saying, "Toh pehle toh yeh picture thi Murugadoss aur Sajid Nadiadwala ki. Uske baad Sajid pehle kalti, Murugadoss wapas se hatt gaya wahan se seedha South picture (So, initially, this film was by Murugadoss and Sajid Nadiadwala. After that, Sajid first backed out, and then Murugadoss also moved away from there, going straight to a South film)."
After that, Khan made an apparent but subtle attack on Murugados' most recent directing effort, Madharaasi, which allegedly had similar financial problems. "Madharaasi karke picture unhone direct ki hai jo ki release hui, bahut badi film hai aur utni hi badi…, Sikandar'se badi blockbuster (He directed a film called Madharaasi, which was released; it's a huge film and equally huge…, a bigger blockbuster than Sikandar)," the superstar said with a sardonic grin.
Dabangg director Kashyap has since made numerous public accusations against Khan; in a separate part, the superstar shifted his attention to him. The host brought Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan into the conversation by questioning Kashyap's current work position.
"Ek aur hain hamare paas ek 'Dabangg' insan. Abhi mere saath unhone Aamir (Aamir Khan) ko lapete mein le liya, Shah Rukh (Shah Rukh Khan) ko bhi le liya. Maine pichhle Weekend Ke Vaar pe aise hi bola tha ki kaam karo. To aaj wapas se poochna chahta hu, Kaam mila kya bhai?" Khan asked, reiterating his past advice to the filmmaker.
The superstar made the observation that Kashyap had probably cut ties with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and their allies when he levelled accusations against them. Although Khan acknowledged that Kashyap "achha likhta hai", he was disappointed that the filmmaker had "destroyed his own career".
Khan said that Kashyaps' self-inflicted harm was his principal worry. He went on to say, "Mujhe baar buri sirf ek hi cheez lag rahi hai ki aapne apne aap ko destroy kiya. Agar kisike parivaar ke peeche padna hai to khud ke parivaar ke peeche pado yaar. Apne bhai ke peeche pado, usse pyaar karlo (The only thing that I keep feeling bad about is that you destroyed yourself. If you want to go after someone's family, then go after your own family, man. Go after your brother; love him instead)."
At the end of his fiery remarks, Khan made a rebellious claim about his faith and strength. He stated, "Aur dost mujhe ghutne pe leke aate ho na. Main roz subah ko ghutno pe aata hu. Lekin uske liye. (And friend, you bring me to my knees, right? I come to my knees every morning, but that's for Him [referring to God].)"
