There’s no stopping star kids in Bollywood. After the much-awaited debuts of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor in Archies, Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri is the latest to join the list.

Alizeh, who is the daughter of Atul and Alvira Agnihotri, has been gearing up to make her Bollywood debut for the past two years and now it seems that the family has zeroed in on the right project. The 21-year-old will play the lead in a romantic drama that will be helmed by Jamtara director Soumendra Padhi.

The 10-episode web series Jamtara, which had released on Netflix, revolved around a phishing scam run two cousins and their friends and how things turn topsy turvy when their acts are exposed. The series was lauded by the critics and was renewed for a second season earlier this year.

Soumendra’s upcoming movie will also feature a lot of newcomers as it’s “youth-centric story”. The makers are yet to lock in the other cast of the film, which will be produced by Salman, Atul, Alvira and Nikhil Namit.

Alizeh, meanwhile, has reportedly been training in acting and dance, and her family feel that she is now ready to make her debut, a source had told Pinkvilla. Salman too has been involved in choosing the right project for her and will make the official announcement when everything falls in place.

The actor is currently shooting for Tiger 3. Earlier this year, there were rumours of a fallout in the family after Aayush Sharma dropped out of Salman’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is now renamed Bhaijaan. The Antim actor was reportedly unhappy with the role that was offered to him in the Farhad Samjhi directorial and had walked out, prompting Salman to replace him with Zaheer Iqbal.
