Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is shooting for her upcoming movie Kushi in Turkey. And she is also making the most of her free time by exploring the beauties of the visiting country. She took to Instagram to share a moment from her trip to Turkey and that picture broke the internet.
Dressed in green, Samantha could be seen lying on the grass with her sunglasses basking in the warmth of the sun. She captioned it, "Still dreaming." And in more than one way the picture captures Samantha's ambition to leave her footprint across the globe.
The picture has taken the internet by storm. In less than 24 hours after she posted the picture on her Instagram page, it has garnered close to a million likes. The picture is also trending on Twitter.
Samantha is shooting for the upcoming romantic drama Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda . The film was shot across India, including Kashmir and Kerala. The filmmakers have now moved to Turkey. Even Vijay Deverakonda has been sharing pictures of his visit to the country as he goes exploring the cafes and tourist places there.
Kushi is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. The director is reuniting with Samantha after Majili (2019).
While the plot of Kushi is unclear, it seems like a love story between two people who fall in love across the religious divide. The movie was first announced in 2019. However, the film didn't go on the floor owing to the pandemic. Later, the shooting was put on hold owing to Samantha's health. She was diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune disease and her treatment and recovery needed more than initially expected.
After her recovery, she resumed shooting for Kushi. She will also be next seen in Amazon Prime Video's international spy series Citadel with Varun Dhawan.
