Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham’s director Krishand said in an OTTplay interview that while everyone is applauding Mammootty's recent script selections and Mohanlal's decision to advance his career this year, there is another actor who has begun taking on new roles lately.

“Many are still not thinking about Jagadish, one of Malayali’s favourite actors who has made it to a new phase of his acting career by selecting unique roles that he has never played before,” he remarked.

The actor has played a prominent role in Krishand’s Purusha Pretham and will also be seen in the latter’s upcoming web series Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham or The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang, which will be streaming on SonyLiv.

“It surprises me that, in addition to being someone I have looked up to since I was a young child and have watched his films, he is a great friend. I admire his works and the way he is recently been rediscovering himself as an actor," he said.

The actor's extensive knowledge of web series and OTT originals was also mentioned by the director, along with their lengthy discussions about movies and other topics while on set.

Krishand continued by stating that Jagadish has concerns related to the screenplay. He recalls an incident where Jagadish voiced his doubts about specific dialogues during the narration of Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham.

"As an artist, he told me that he does not mind dialogues that jokes about body shaming, but he worries about whether the audience will find it humorous," the director remarked. He said that in response to the actor's statement, he made the required adjustments.

On January 7, the cast and creators of the web series revealed the first poster of Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham, which is a quirky tale of a gangster set in Trivandrum. The stellar cast of this series includes Jagadish, Indrans, Sanju Sivram, Darshana Rajendran, Santhy Balachandran, Zarin Shihab, Prashanth Alexander, Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, Vishnu Agasthya, Hakkim Shahjahan, Anoop Mohandas, Sreenath Babu, Rahul Rajagopal, Zhinz Babu, Geethi Sangeeha, Shambhu Suresh, and Sachin Joseph.

The primary characters in this series are C-List celebrities who participate in small-time criminal activities. The web series will be shot in over 80 locations, including Trivandrum, Tamil Nadu, Bombay, and Kanyakumari, over the course of 120 days.
