The makers of the new Malayalam web series, Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham, also known as The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang, have announced its premiere date. The dark action comedy, which is directed by Krishand, will be available on Sony LIV as well as on OTTplay Premium from August 29.

Although the web series, which features a stellar set of actors, was announced earlier in the year, the creators had not provided an update regarding when it would be released. It has already been announced that Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham will be made available on the OTT platforms on August 29 at 12 am. This project, which combines brutal realism with a grimly humorous edge, has been widely anticipated by film enthusiasts. Meanwhile, another Malayalam web series, Kammattam, will also be available on ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium on the same date.

A group of youngsters are at the centre of the narrative of Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham or The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang. The narrative revolves around how they accomplish this, carry out their grandiose plan to organise the neighborhood's temple festival, and fight the vicious local criminal who dominates the city's strange and intensely competitive milk and flower markets.
With a cast that includes Jagadish, Indrans, Vijayaraghavan, Hakkim Shahjahan, Darshana Rajendran, Sanju Sivaram, Santhy Balachandran, Niranj Maniyan Pillai, Sreenath Babu, Shambu Menon, Prashanth Alex, Rahul Rajagopal, and Vishnu Agasthya, the series is set in Trivandrum and inspired from real incidents.
Krishand recently stated that the web series will be released soon in an interview with OTTplay. Regarding the project, he expressed his confidence that it will revolutionise the Malayalam web series industry. "I am pleased and appreciative that everything turned out so well. Additionally, Sony LIV enjoyed the content," he said. The director went on to say that the whole cast would definitely surprise the audience, especially Vishnu Agasthya, Sanju Sivram, and Anoop Mohandas.
