In a release issued by the team, Samuthirakani said that the plot of the film revolves around the fact that human minds can't be controlled. He said, "Most of us will be able to connect with this movie because of the manner in which the characters are designed. We can't wait for the audience to watch the movie." According to Thambi Ramaiah, the viewers will have the satisfaction of having read a philosophical novel once they complete watching the movie. Munishkanth, who expressed happiness in being a part of a project directed by Samudrakani, hopes his character will bring him accolades.

Samuthirakani's films are known for relevant messages and content which connects with family audience. Sanchita Shetty believes that parents and kids are likely to enjoy the movie as the story has interesting things in store for them. Abirami Ramanathan, who is elated to have collaborated with Zee5, said, "Vinodhaya Sitham will be a tribute of sorts for every family man who dedicates his time for his near and dear ones."

Ekambaram and Ramesh have handled the film's cinematography and editing respectively. Samuthirakani, who last directed Naadodigal 2, currently has mega projects RRR and Indian 2, among other films as an actor in his kitty.
