Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's film, Sanam Teri Kasam, got a box office opening of Rs 5.14 crore at the box office. On day two, the film collected Rs 6.22 crore. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru directorial minted Rs 6.25 crore at the ticket window. This brings the three-day total of Sanam Teri Kasam re-release BO close to Rs 18 crore.
Interestingly, Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release has performed better than Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar at the box office. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's rom-com and Himesh Reshammiya's action drama are fresh releases, which were out on February 7, 2025.
Harshvardhan Rane on Sanam Teri Kasam's box office failure
In an interview with Indian Express, Harshvardhan Rane recently reflected on Sanam Teri Kasam's box office failure in 2016. He also spoke about the film's re-release in theatres.
"I hope it does what it didn’t do earlier, that’s it. Kya feel karoon main? Everyone was asking me everywhere to bring this film back. The only anecdote I remember is that we all were expecting this film to do much better than what it did. That void has pushed me today to request everyone to release this," said Harshvardhan.
