Sandipta Sen and Soumya Mukherjee gear up for their marriage ceremony

Actress Sandipta Sen is all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Soumya Mukherjee. Their wedding will take place on December 7. The marriage preparation is in full swing. The aiburobhat phase has started. The actress’s close friend, actress Twarita Chatterjee, arranged aiburobhat for Sandipta and Soumya.

The ‘aiburobhat’ event was gorgeous. The terrace of Twarita’s in-law’s place was decorated with lights and the tables and chairs are in the middle of the space. Twarita served the food in clay dishes, garnished with flowers. Pulao, fish fry, salad, prawn malaikari, mutton, chutney, and desserts were there. Twarita's husband Sourav helped her in arranging the event.

Twarita shared the video on her Instagram. Once upon a time, Sandipa detested marriage, but Twarita was relentless. Now, Twarita jokes, “I knew for eight years that this day would come. You never agreed. Anyway, lots of wishes for this day.” 

Sandipta answered, “True. You were the only person who was so confident about this. Many thanks for being my friend. Love you. Thanks to Sourav for arranging it so nicely. I am touched.” 

Sandipta and Soumya – the CEO of the OTT platform Hoichoi – will exchange rings on December 2. It will be an ashirbaad-come-engagement party to which their close friends and family members are invited. Sandipa never hid her relationship with Soumya. The priest Nandini Bhoumik will preside over the marriage ceremony. Sandipa wishes to wear a fuchsia pink Banarasi saree on the marriage day. Soumya will wear a pastel pink sherwani and dhoti. Sandipta will wear a lehenga on December 2. 

Several Bengali actresses are getting married. Taniya Pal's wedding already took place. Arpita and Swarnendu, the son and daughter-in-law of Lakshmi Kakima, will get married soon. Sriparna, who played Rukmini in Gnatchora, will also get married.
