The Malayalam film Sangarsha Ghadana - The Art of Warfare, helmed by noted director Krishand, is now gearing up for its OTT release after a short theatrical run. The film, featuring Vishnu Agasthya in the lead role, will drop on Sun NXT (also OTTplay Premium) on November 14, 2025. Krishand-helmed Sangarsha Ghadana - The Art of Warfare released in theatres on August 8, 2025. Now more than three months later, the film will make its OTT debut on Sun NXT on November 14. OTTplay Premium subscribers can also watch the Malayalam film with English subtitles. Currently, it is not known if the film would have other language options.

What is Sangarsha Ghadana all about?

Sangarsha Ghadana follows Kodamazha Suni, an ex-crime boss, whose former gang members come under attack by an unknown group. Which former adversary has returned and what were his past actions, Kodamazha Suni is left in a puzzle as he seeks to track down the foe. Based on Sun Tzu's book, Sangarsha Ghadana is a gangster drama but what makes it different is Krishand’s narration. Critics hailed the film during its limited release in August, with some saying that Krishand’s film brilliantly explored human conflicts with morality. The director, who is known for his quirky and distinctive style of filmmaking, once again crafts a thought-provoking film.

Apart from Vishnu Agasthya, the film also features Sanup Padaveedan, Mrudula Murali, and Zhinz Shan, among others. The film is expected to find more audience upon its OTT release, as Krishand does have a dedicated fan following.

Notably, Krishand had another release in August 2025, but a Malayalam web series titled Sambhava Vivaranam Nalarasangham or The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang (streaming on SonyLiv via OTTplay Premium). A crime comedy about a bunch of youngsters in Kerala, the series also stars Sanju Sivram, Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju , Jagadish and Darshana Rajendran, among others.
