Earlier today, on October 20th, Rakshit Shetty took to social media to confirm that his film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B will be a November 17th release, having already hinted at the new release date only a few days ago.

"Will there be a change in the course of destiny?" wrote Rakshit in his post as he unveiled a new poster which bore the new release date of the film.

Side B of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, of course, comes as the follow-up to or continuation of Side A or part one of the two-part film, which has been co-written (with Gundu Shetty) and directed by Hemanth M. Rao. Initially, Side B was meant to release in theatres on October 19 to mark a 7-week gap between the two instalments (Side A released on September 1) but the makers have now chosen to defer on those plans.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A opened to extremely positive reviews from both critics and the Kannada audiences and soon enough, the film would find traction in the 'non-Kannada' regions as well. This would encourage the team to dub and release the film in Telugu as 'Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati' but the new version's theatrical run was cut short a tad abruptly when the film, in all its versions, dropped on OTT a week later.

Despite this, one gathers that the audiences are keenly looking forward to Side B, which is set to release in theatres on November 17 in four different languages including Kannada (original), Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

While Side A saw how Manu and Priya's tender love story met a fateful twist, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B is expected to take the story forward on the back of a time leap of 10 years. Both Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth will reprise their respective roles as Manu and Priya with Chaithra J Achar joining the central cast to play the role of Surabhi.
